Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010 Available!

September 9, 2009

MDT 2010 was finally released today.

After lots of months, bugs fixed, new improvements and a lot of users feedback reading, the final version of MDT 2010 was released for everyone.

This new MDT 2010 makes it possible to deploy the new Windows 7 and Windows 2008 using the usual litetouch and zerotouch deployment features.

More then a tool, MDT is a complete framework that permits you to plan Windows deployment from one point to another with a lot of documentation to help you.

So here’s the link for downloading:

The Microsoft Deployment Toolkit Team, announced yesterday on their blog (MDT Team Blog) than the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010 (MDT 2010) beta versions, should be made available on the middle of January, through Microsoft Connect website (link).

Among other changes and new things, MDT 2010 will have:
- Support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

Because this is still the start, remember that all our feedback is very important for the MDT Team, and a chance to work close with them to help make a better final product.
